Served on cask at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a large creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet roasted malts, chocolate and nutty notes. The taste is pretty much exactly the same. Thin bodied.

cask at the brewpub - Pours near black with a roast malt and chocolate aroma. The flavor is sweet malt and chocolate. There’s a medium to full body for this smooth, tasty brew. Well done.

Draft at brewpub. Poured black color with an average to large frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. This is a good brew for style.

Had on draft at the brew pub. This was my favorite beer of theirs! Very good, sweet, dark stout. Flavors of chocolate, cream and coffee. Light in texture. Very well blended. I liked this one a lot...
