3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 hopdog (6943) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2007
Growler acquired in trade with Sephiroth (big thanks for shipping a Growler out!). Poured a medium amber color with a very small sized off white head. Aroma of earth, pine and citrus. Husky. Tastes of pine and grapefruit. Thinner body. Medium bitter finish.

Draft as part of sampler at Broad Ripple. Clear amber color with a medium white head that diminshed slowly. Medium hoppy aroma. Medium body. Good flavor of hops with a medium bitter finish.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lubiere (6707) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 14, 2004
Golden IPA with a light hoppy aroma. Very intense hops, dry and bilous. Needs more malts for balance. Lots of lemon and grapefruits. Metallic finish.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rastacouere (5900) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 7, 2008
Objectively speaking:
A satisfying hoppy ale that chooses the simplistic approach: Simplify your malts so your hops appear more complex.
I like:
Very cloudy appearance. By far their most bitter beer, though it keeps the bready malt dominance and this time, it feels almost wheaty at that. Orange and grapefruity hops cover a satisfying citrus array.
I dislike:
Just like it were from the cask, they kept its carbonation level very low, but it feels like it might add some life to those loose malts here.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cornfield (5240) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - NOV 8, 2006
This poured a cloudy light copper body with an off-white head that vanishes quickly, lacing the glass as it does so. The aroma is a watery caramel with sweet apples and a mild PNW hopping. Kind of watery. In taste it’s more of an APA than an IPA, a fairly even balance between the malty sweetness and a grapefruit & pine bitterness. It finishes on an earthy, bitter note. Sessionable.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BBB63 (4939) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - OCT 4, 2004
Tap at brewpub: Deep amber hue with an average frothy white head and good lace. The aroma has notes of piney aromatic hops, light citrus, caramel and toasted malts. The nose is a bit weak. The taste starts crisp and clean with a bitter front and a nice citric twang. Some sweetness and roasted malt balance. A fleeting finish with some bitters. The feel is slightly metallic and bready, just average. A solid brew, nothing big or fancy. More akin to a slightly hoppier APA, it is quaffable.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Drake (4803) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange with a medium head that fades to nothing quite quickly. Aroma of bitter citrus hops. The taste is bitter earthy and herbal hops with sweet malts. Medium bodied.
