I had this on tap at the brewpub, served in an imperial pint glass. It was a nice copper color, nice head retention and actually tasted pretty good. It’s more in the style of a traditional British IPA, not the hop bombs typical of the American versions that I usually drink so, this one was a nice change of pace.

Apr 29, 2008 Pours a nice amber in color. There was no head to speak of. Taste is decent amount of hops, but they were a tad bit subdued. Easy drinking and went down real smooth, just not a standout beer. Disappointing in the head and hop bite. Good, clean mouthfeel.

Apr 19, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Medium gold body with a large, slightly off white head. The aroma was grapefruit with some toast and walnuts. The taste was grapefruit with some flowers and sweet citrus in the finish. A decent mild IPA was that was closer to an English than a US version.

Oct 18, 2007 Sampler draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber with a thin beige head. The aroma is big piny hops and caramel. Light to medium-bodied slick and fairly soft with a moderately bitter finish. The flavor is a sweet caramel malt front with piny resinous hops quickly stealing the show. A pretty tasty IPA and one that I think is pretty under-rated.
