Smells a little of fruit, wood, and a small amount of sweetness. Medium bodied with a tart sweetness that gives way to a more natural, dry woody aftertaste. I chose this while my buddy had the ESB (which was also nice) but I’m glad I went with this instead as I have a fondness for Saisons. Pretty damn good. Slightly tart and dry start gives way to a chewy, syrupy and woody taste. Not much head to speak of. Finished nice and peppery. After going through all of their samplers, this was the beer I had for a full pint before closing.
