The body is a hazy chestnut with a film in lieu of a head. The nose is soft and sweet, caramel, juicy apples, and a shake of pepper. This is quite a sweet brew, tasting of caramel covered apples. Except for the spiciness in the nose, I couldn’t tell that rye was involved with this ale. Not a bad drink.
