jahughey (65), Franklin, Indiana, USA Sep 15, 2005 Needed more of everything. Mouthfeel too light (see porter), malt character, the foundation of any bock, too light, could stand even more hop for better balance. Great idea, but needs to be more authentic to be worth the effort.
thedm (3407), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 27, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of finely sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malts that was very soft . Its mouth feelwas soft. Its flavor contained mild sweet malt notes. This is a poor bock imitation. hotstuff (3060), Indiana, USA Jun 20, 2005 Draft at BRBC. Small tan head that fully diminished, fine-small sized bubbles, sparse lacing, no visible carbonation, transparent, and a red hue. The aroma was malty and caramel. It had a sweet, malty and caramel flavor. Watery, thin mouthfeel. Light body.
