Commercial Description:
This smooth ale strikes a delicate balance between the caramelized specialty malts and flowery hop bouquet. Very drinkable. On cask

Killer best bitter. Light amber, appropriate light carbonation for style. Hoppier in aroma than the ESB (undisputed drinkable brewpub king), light malt character, fairly hoppy in flavor. Though not a true session beer at over 5%, still has that same social, quaffable character. Served on beer engine closes the deal.

Cask at the brewpub. Pour is light yellow orange with a decent white head. The aroma gives a light orange hoppy nothe with some bready malt. Flavor is pretty light with a lingering bitterness. Big body though I would not call it full. More carbonation than expected from a cask ale. Really easy to drink.

On cask at the brewpub. The body was medium gold and hazy with a thin off white head. The aroma was lots of fresh oranges with some almonds and toast. The taste was more oranges with some deep walnuts. Nice soft mouthfeel. Well done.

Indy Gathering 2005. This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized long lasting white colored bubbles that left behind an excellent lacing. The body was semi-hazy and dark orange brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of malts hops and dough. Its mouth feel is initially smooth with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Its flavor contained smooth bitter flavors mild but good. It starts off a little flat from the cask. All-in-all very nice brew.

From the cask at the pub. Dusty bronze color with creamy white head. A decent lace is seen later as the beer starts to dissapear. Aroma is lacking somewhat. A faint hop is noticable and there is a little bit of fruityness, but you have to pay attention to get it. Smooth flavors appear to save it from the lack of aroma. Noticable hops set nicely with a mildly malty beer. A bit fruity turning somewhat metalic. The metalic character hangs around, but isn’t terrible. A bit of sweetness becomes noticable at the end.
