3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 nimbleprop (2224) - SouthWest, Washington, USA - MAY 28, 2008
Cask at the brewpub. Pours a hazy, yellow orange with a thin, creamy white head that faded fast. Generous cascade hopping is an understatement. Smells like cascade hops (lemons, grass, grapefruit). Tastes like cascade hops with a little bit of a sweet, candy like malt backing. Bitter on the finish but not overwhelming. Session beer for sure and very drinkable.

Had this on tap at the brewpub but was in town for a wedding with a lot of family and didn’t take good tasting notes beyond the numbers.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rastacouere (5920) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 7, 2008
Objectively speaking:
Straightforward APA with obvious cascade aspirations.
I like:
Certainly fairly aromatic.
I dislike:
Quite one-dimensional, the cascades provide aroma, but do not have much kick in the finish. Tart and citrusy juiciness makes you miss bitterness with bitterness. Dull bready malts coalesce into a stale bready finish whrer no hops attempt to obstruct. Poorly constructed and overly light-bodied.

Cask pour. Murky amber with a fleeting white head. Nice floral and piney hop aromas. Smooth medium body. Flavors are lightly sweet bready pale malts with a floral hoppy bite to finish. Very easy drinking.

Cask draft at brewpub. Hazy dark amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished. Heavysour citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium smooth bitter flavor with a bitter finish of moderate duration. Made the visit to brewpub very enjoyable.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 jahughey (65) - Franklin, Indiana, USA - SEP 14, 2005
Very faithful, high quality APA. Undoubtedly dry-hopped, citrusy/floral aroma from obviously Cascade-type hops. Quite clean yet slightly rich maltiness quickly finds delicious hop flavor, and, ultimately, drinkability. Yet another of their beers that could make $ in bottles, but focusing on the tap demands respect and admiration. Just a question of principle, a rare thing.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 14, 2004
Called American Pale Ale. Light copper ale with pleasant fruity hops, resinous. Nice dry hops in finish well balanced with malts. Richer bodied offering. July 30 04.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hotstuff (3249) - Indiana, USA - FEB 3, 2004
Draft sample. This beer formed a small sized white head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was somewhat hazy and uncarbonated with a yellow hue. The nose was light malt and hoppy. The flavor of this beer was bitter and hoppy from start to finish with a lingering aftertaste. The mouthfeel was smooth and tingly. This was a medium bodied beer with good lacing.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 thedm (4124) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 1, 2004
This draft sample poured a small head of fine to medium sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a good lace. The body was slightly hazy uncarbonated and a dark yellow color. The aroma was mild with floral notes and the mouth feel was initial medium hop bite which lingered well into the finish. The flavor was bitter hoppy and mixed heavily with malt.
