I typically don’t drink white beers, they’re just not my preferred drink. I tried a jug of Longshot which I bought from the brewery and I was more than pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this beer to people who might be weary of this type of beer.

A hazed golden wheat ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a strange musty fruity malt, faint, with light boiled veggies. In mouth, a rather chalky and off malt with musty notes, boiled veggies, thin and watery. On tap at Hintonburg Public House, March 30, 2012.

Pours a hazy orange gold with a small ring of white head. Aroma is faint orange, coriander and wheat. Taste is very citrusy, orange highlights and a dry coriander finish. A small medicinal aftertaste, a little thin on the body.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Growler from the brewery, beer number two. Brewed October 3, 2011. Pale golden orange, pretty much no head, ring of white head around the rim. Honey, orange blossoms, straw, fruit, something else but not quite sure what it is; little thin but ok, slightly sweet, straw, below average carbonation, slightly dry on the finish. Decent but not as good as the pale ale.
