Broadheadís Long Shot White is a fresh, fruit-flavored wheat ale thatís brewed to be hazy and brazen. A spirited, sweet and slightly spicy beer that perfectly mingles coriander with orange overtones, kicking back with a Long Shot is a welcome, flavorful friend.

Cloudy orange with bubbly white head. Faint aromas of citrus, pineapple and bread. Flavor is slightly sweet finishing on a bland, dull and flat note. Smooth in mouth. After rating a sharp, bitter offering from the same brewer, this rating may be a little biased.

[5905-20131010] Growler. Oregano herby aroma. Murky, pale orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Soapy grainy flavour has a bit of wheaty fruit grain throughout and a soft finish. Medium body. Average, definitely emulates Rickardís White. (6/3/6/4/13) 3.2

341 mL bottle. Hazy peach nectar with a thin cap of white head. Nose is juicy with grainy malt, orange, coriander, apricot and spicy Noble hops. Slightly sweet with balancing spiciness, creamy texture despite being on the lower end of the carbonation range. Light bodied and refreshing. A sort of American/Belgian Wheat/Wit hybrid, very nice with my curried chicken. Great flavor, but Iíd love a touch more carb and some head retention.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. A cloudy copper gold with a thick foamy head. Tons of coriander in the aroma. Very smooth & creamy in the mouthfeel. Lots of spice, witbier like. Wheaty spicy goodness.†

On tap at Lancaster smokehouse. Very cloudy orange with zero head. Mild wheat and citrus aroma. What and a huge orange taste. Quite sweet. Light spiciness. Not bad.

Draft sample. Orange in colour with plenty of haze and medium carbonation. Very mild aromas of orange peel and grain. Very odd flavor of fresh milled malted barley, vanilla, and muted citrus. Medium bodied. Outside of the orange elements, itís not terribly wit like. Drank ok overall, but an odd duck.

Nice white. Coriander, some citrus and good balance. Finishes with light sweetness, some sourness. Pours cloudy golden with great head and lacing. Itís always great when I actually enjoy a beer from a style I donít ordinarily like. Sampled at the Winterbrewed festival in Ottawa.

My growler shared with GregClow, mds, jerc & mabel. Pours a murky orange with a small semi-lasting frothy white head. Aroma and flavour are quite grainy and wheaty along with some citrus -- oranges mainly -- and light spices. Mild bitter finish. Average bodied. Itís O.K. Itís a lot like Rickards White/Blue Moon, it must be intentional.

Very hazy, you canít even see through it. Very orange. Almost looks like a pop. Fruity nose. Very fruity. Almost shandy like. Itís good but much more fruit than beer taste. My Dad would rally like this. Actually itís very refreshing. Mor I drink the more I like. This is the first one I want seconds of.
