A lightly hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a beautiful piney and resinous hops, with orange pulp, light papaya and biscuitty malt. In mouth, a nice smooth biscuitty malt with nice herbal hops, resinous and smooth, abit light bodied, but good. From growler brought by Pushkinow, shared with Probstk, GRM, Mike and Shaun, Nov. 20 2011. Rating 6500 for a new Ottawa brewery!

Pours a hazy orange gold with a thin fizzy white top. Aroma is floral, orange hop and light malt. Taste is light, slight orange and a comfortable hop bitterness with a nice slightly sweet malt. Easy drinker.

Sample from a growler from pushkinwow (thanks!) at Mike’s, served cold in a tulip glass. Galaxy version. 20NO11.
App.: Hazy deep golden, thin white head.
Aroma: Nice fresh pine, resin, passion fruit and sort of peach-like hops, some biscuit malt, certainly a hop showcase, and an interesting one at that!
Palate: Medium body, sparse effervescence.
Flav.: Biscuit, a little less hop intensity, much like the nose, really nice; dry with mild bitterness and a nice apricot/fruity finish.
Interesting hop variety. I hope they keep expanding our hop horizons with this beer.

Growler, savoured on November 20 2011; eye: golden, lightly hazy, tiny ring of white head, average lacing; nose: passion fruit, malt, light caramel, peach, apricot; mouth: passion fruit, light malt, light caramel, peach, apricot, pine, finale in passion fruit, medium body, below-average carbonation, lightly sweet and bitter, lightly harsh texture; overall: nice surprise

Growler from the brewery filled yesterday. Amber with an off white head. Fresh floral and hop aroma, somewhat muted though, bit of orange, sweeter malts. Carbonated although seems a bit flat, sweet, decent body, becomes slightly bitter and dry towards the finish, at the very end the palate becomes very dry and your left with a nice lingering hop and malt taste.
