2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bag in a box at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Very pale almost clear gold. Sweet pear on aroma. Yes, it’s too sweet. Cold, refreshing, but too sweet. Some pear flesh in mouth. OK. No bad flavours or anything out of place otherwise than it is a sweet pear flesh drink.

On Draught at a Wetherspoons in their Spring Beer Fesival. Greenish straw with no head. Sweet, light perry, a little thin on flavour but certainly not unpleasant. Late dryness, its reasonable.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bag in a box Red Well Wellingborough . Pretty much white in colour with a merest hint of green. Lots of pears in this. Pithy sweet and friendly. Easy to drink and refreshing. Nice enough but after a while it does become too simple and syrupy. Needs more funk.

2010-07-31. Very pale yellow. 2+ Flower pear aroma, with a twist that I can not precisely describe. 6+ Flavour is sweet with a candyish fruit flavour, bit odd overall but not unpleasant. Smooth average plus bodied palate. Okay. Cask at Middle Farm, Lewes
