A Sim rate (cask at the Southampton): Smells overly sweet and sickly. It’s like apple pie and ice cream. Sweet, fizzy flavour that’s too artificial. It’s the filling in a McD’s apple pie. OK, but I wouldn’t have it again.

Bottle 568ml.
Clear sparkling, with medium to medium dark yellow color with a average to large, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate apple, barnyard and wood notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle 56,8 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Tart, fresh apple aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet apple accents yet with a rather astringent edge combined with a rather distinct metalic touch. Decent though. 160110

500ml bottle (Kaisla, Helsinki)
Dry sharp aroma, apple and mellow aged woodiness. Palate fizzy. Fairly thin body, but quite pleasant. Lovely aged dry fruity body. Bigger than most ecussons, but similar in what can be done with low percentages.
