Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Welland Valley BF. A chocolate aroma to this black mild with no head (due to dispense). The flavour is bitter and roasty. A tasty mild.

Cask Stillage at the Town Hall, Stockport 30/05/2002 Black mild with tracle flavours. Slightly bitter roast finish.

Cask conditioned at Wenlock Arms. Reddish brown coloured. Mild, malt and fruity with an acidic touch. Light.

Cask Conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival. Dark brown to red beer with thin malty head. Roasted dark chocolatey flavour, dry and bitter, not fruity like a normal mild. A weak stout perhaps, but quite tasty all the same.
