COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two Water Grog is a complex and malty ale. A blend of 4 different malts give a full bodied taste and bramling cross hops leave a long dry finish. Named after diluted tots given to sailors - two parts water, one part rum.

A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is malty with a slight acidic note. In the flavor the acidity comes out more clearly, but is combined with notes of caramel and malt. Weird I was the only one picking out the acidity in this bottle.

A brownish bitter which was very lively when poured from the bottle. Plenty of bitterness but not much complexity.

Bottle from a Sainsburys off the M1on the outskirts of Northampton. Poured VERY flat, no head, clear dark colour. Palate is very malty & smooth, with a dry spicy finish. Quite a complex brew but...overall, a disappointment.

Cask Conditioned at The Dun Cow, Hornton, Oxon (Winter Beer Fest 05). Tawny colour with no head (Gravity Pour). Strangely hybrid beer, all malt with a mouthdrying finish, neither one thing nor the other. Perfumed cereal notes, thin and toasted.

Bottled. Sort of hedgerow fruit meets watery malt. A thin mouthfeel, slightly sour, slightly fruity. Not bad, but seemed to be diluted indeed.
