3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 drfabulous (2283) - Lexington, USA - OCT 3, 2009
Cloudy almost orange pale ale. First batch done at the brewery. Some fruity tastes to it and decent overall taste with hops and a bit of the floral (but not enough). Odd finish that distracts from the beer. Good first shot and it should get better by the next batch.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 vyvvy (2920) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JUN 19, 2011
Sampled at St. Louis Microfest 2011 - Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. The aroma has caramel, toasty malt and earthy hops. Medium body with light carbonation. The taste has caramel malt with some earthy aspects and the hops are piney and fruity. Nice beer.

Draft at Parkville Brewfest, sampled 4/30. Cloudy gold with a strong white ring of foamy head. Fresh, sweet aroma with a dry, sharp hoppy bite. Dry hopping very evident in the finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 phaleslu (3534) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 9, 2011
Draft at St. Louis Microfest 2011. Now that’s more like it. After a disappointing porter, the APA is legit. Pours a clear, bright gold color with a finger-thick white head. Notes of sweet malts, citrusy and floral hops, honey, a little bit of herbs, straw, and grass. Light-medium bodied, with a sticky mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Smooth, easy-drinking APA that I could sip all day.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 beastiefan2k (1920) - Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA - FEB 28, 2011
Sampler @ the brewpub. Not piny or spruce, a smaller brother to the DIPA, sweet bubblegum hops. Very delicious if you like a sweet hopcentric beer. Slightly sticky sweet on the cheeks. I could drink growlers of this.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 dwaggs2 (1178) - Jefferson City, Missouri, USA - NOV 14, 2010
Tap at the restaurant. Poured an amber color with a smaller white head. Left lacing as it went. Aroma was grass and pine. Thiner body. Flavor was pine and spruce. Watery and not as strong as some other APA’s but still the best Broadway I’ve had to date.
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 adnielsen (3755) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 30, 2010
Tasted on tap at Broadway Brewery in Columbia, Missouri. Orange, hazy appearance. Slight hoppy aroma. Medium hopped taste. Malts taste a bite darker than most pales. Dry finish. Not a good pale ale.
