Sampled at MO Beer Fest. Clear and golden. Citrus and sweet. More citrus. Apricots, too. This is not complicated but is very good. Hops eat your face off!

This is one of the better offerings from a mediocre brewery. Rye is apparent in the pepperyness and there is a nice citrus flavor to bring it out more. Bitter and alcoholic.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 5/5   OVERALL 13/20
EtTuCthulhu (898) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - APR 24, 2013
This beer was a hazy golden color with no head in the sampler glass when poured from the tap at the brewery, and the aroma was strongly of rye with undercurrents of floral and spruce hops. Once sipped, the taste is quite bitter and slightly sweet, and the palate combines a creamy (almost butter-esque) texture, medium body, soft carbonation, and a bitter finish.

On tap at Broadway. Pours a copper color with white head. Very nice grapefruit, citra hoppy, citrus aroma. Spicy rye, grapefruit, citra flavors. Hell yeah, nice beer Broadway!

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 16/20
vyvvy (3607) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JUL 26, 2012
Pours bronze with a good sized white head. The aroma has grapefruit, light funk, rye spiciness, toast, light sweetness and perfumy hops. Medium / full body with fairly soft pleasant carbonation. The flavor begins with the aroma traits and more rye presence. The hops take on more of a piny and earthy tone and there is a lot more dryness. The finish has pleasing abrasive hops and is very nice. Really nice IIPA.
