Draft at Parkville Brewfest, sampled 4/30. Average porter, nothing too distinct...a bit watery.

Draft sample at St. Louis Microfest 2011. Pours a somewhat cloudy brown color with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, nuts, toast- a little faint, but nice. Flavor follows suit with roasted and toasted malts, nuts, light chocolate, coffee, and earth. However, the body is way too thin and watery. Low carbonation. With some body, this would have been a solid, up-the-middle porter.

Sampler at the brewpub. It poured a deep brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. The flavor was a different hint of nuts. It was an ok brew.

Tap at the restaurant. Poured a dark brown color with a two finger tan head. Left lots of lacing as it went. Look amazing, smelled amazing. Chocolate, coffee and roasted malts in the aroma. Flavor was a weird nutty to it. Nuts and caramel. Just a weird not so good taste to it. Medium body. Average at best.

Tasted on tap at Broadway Brewery in Columbia, Missouri. Deep black appearance, typical Porter aroma. Tastes like a Porter but has a strange suck to it and a bad finish.

Roasty with strong hints of chocolate. This porter crosses the stout borderline quite easily . Very enjoyable.
