A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light floral hops, light pine trees, subdued and pleasing. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with loads of pine needles, resinous hops, floral hops, very nice and "native". On tap at Saint Bock.

czar (7484) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 14, 2013
on tap at bateau de nuit, qc. clear pale yellow with a creamy white head, good retention and strong lacing. citrus and tropical pine needles, if at all possible (!), floral and lightly piney, crisp pale malts, some spices - ginger, cloves, maybe some belgiumness too. bright carbonation, light body - slightly watery, very dry mouthfeel and finish, astringent and (non-pejorative) acrid medium long finish provided by annedda’s oils and esters. good and quenching. simply put: the best use yet of pine for the annedd’ale style.
