hazy orange pour, smells slightly of hops, and a touch of ginger. the ginger doesnt seem to be very prominent in the aroma or the flavour, but it really shines in the finish, and it lingers.

Crystal clear pale yellow. Gentle 1cm white head. Looks almost exactly like the triple. Soft ginger aroma stays well under control unlike many oher examples. Spicy, zesty, lemony base aimed at refreshment. Light-bodied, soft carbonation. More pronounced ginger in mouth, but still quite approachable. Low hops. Gentle tartness. Simple, but fresh tasting and this is the purpose I guess.

(Rating #1284)

My Bottom Line:
Sweet ginger spiciness and balanced earthy hoppiness make up this subtle flavor profile aiming at diversifying the session ale menu at Broadway Pub.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the pale golden clarity.
-The body is lean and oily and the mouthfeel actively carbonated.
-This is not something I’d drink often, but it’s competently done for what it is.
-The finish is a little dry, bitter and spicy.
-Apple fruitiness emanates from the interplay of cereal sweetness and spicy ginger.
-This is much better than Le Lièvre’s...
On tap at the brewpub.
