2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 SlovakSniper (1349) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 24, 2012

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Roli (404) - laval, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 3, 2011
On tap at Le Baltazar in Laval. Blonde color with a quickly disappearing head. Yeast and alcohol in the aroma, agrumes and herbal mnots in the taste. A good example of the style, but nothing to wow you. In the end, good but could be improved.

341 mL bottle. Translucent brown gold with a huge, sticky white head. Aroma is sweet mandarine citrus, with a touch of wheat. Quite appealing. Flavour is pretty standard. Nothing off. A little sweet. Could be drier. Not bad, though.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 cfrancis (1358) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 19, 2011
Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is very yeasty, wheat and astrigent alcohol. Taste is again yeasty very similar to the tripel style with grain and a dry slightly hopped finish. Nice beer.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DeanF (1484) - Iqaluit, Nunavut, CANADA - FEB 6, 2011
You know, it has a nice orange-gold body with a decent kind of creamy head. The aroma is good! It’s like a cross between a proper English bitter and a proper Belgian blonde.... after so many sucky Québec beers that couldn’t brew an aroma out of a paper bag, this is a pleasant surprise. The flavour is an odd mix between aromatic hops and floral malts... it isn’t bad, but it’s a bit weak on the palate and doesn’t instill confidence in this brew. Points for trying, but they need to get their game on if they want to really compete.

Flavor is heavy malt (bread, cookie, toasted), average hops (earthy, herbal), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of bubble gum, juniper, and coriander. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation, low creaminess with a dry finish.
4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 Tricker (123) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 15, 2010
