Bottle sampled at Papsø’s on 8/30/09: Pours a cloudy mahogany amber with an airy froth of tan head. Aroma of sweet sugary caramel and light fruity notes with a touch of earthy hops. Starts very effervescent and semi-sweet with a toasty caramel maltiness and a drier earthy bitterness that lingers in the finish. Seems kind of off with a lot of yeasty carbonation and earthy bittersweetness.

Dark brown colored with hazy appearance. Huge light brown head. Aroma is standard Danish with flowery-vegetables, chocolate and burnt rubber also here, some roastiness also here. Medium bodied, carbonated palate. Flavor is similar with burnt-rubber and glue, chocolate and sourness here too. Not very clean.

It is beautiful, red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma is milky sour with a touch of caramel. The flavour has sweetness and notes of sour milk, light cheese, malt and sour berries – clearly infected.
