jazzmaster (19), Denmark Jan 18, 2008 Draught at Ølbaren - black with a nice brown lasting head. Very good aroma of roasted barley and chocolate with a little citrus from hops. Full creamy mouthfeel and a beautiful flavour of dark chocolate and caramel, and with a nicely integrated note of smoked chili that burns in the aftertaste. sinisterdad (13), Denmark Jan 18, 2008 Draught at Ølbaren - dark brown/black appearance with a thick chocolate brown foam. Delicious aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt/barley and a little fruitiness from hops. Flavour is full and creamy with more chocolate, caramel toffee, roastedness and a hint of chili, which becomes more and more evident after some sips. Quite light in carbonation, which gives a nice creamy mouthfeel Defreni (604), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 3, 2008 Flaske. Virkelig overraskende god. Fantastisk velafbalanceret. madsberg (4424), Bangalore, India Mar 7, 2008 Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Brown creamy lasting head. Sweetness, light chocolate, some fruits and spices in the aroma. Quite dense from the early start, but increases as the beer warms up. Flavour is light roasted, has loads coffee, light cocoa and chocolate. Has a touch of vanilla. Very well balanced beer, and quite complex. Is medium to full bodied. Quite dry. Ends on a roasty and light sweet note. Has some bitternotes as well. Where is the chili one could ask, but as others have stated, it really starts, when the bottle is emptied. A light burn on palate and lips finishes this beer in an awesome way. Definately the best chilibeer I ever tasted. Thank to my friend Henrik for bringing 2 bottles of this to Bangalore.
