COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Brøckhouse Blonde is brewed from a secret mixture of spices, herbs and specialty malts. It is a Belgian style top-fermented ale brewed with English and German hops. In spite of the relatively high alcohol content, Blonde is sparkling fresh and light because of the high content of carbon dioxide. At the same time it has a complex combination of taste and flavour combining apples, flowers, sweet and bitter. Best served at 9-12°C

Bottle. Exp 2006. Oldies but goddies. No head. Malty bisquit caramel aromas. Lost some of the freshness due too no carbonation. Balanced sweet dryness. Fine brew for the age.

01.10.2006. 0,5l Bottle. Golden brown colour with white head.

500 ml bottle. Brownish copper. Medium-sized white head. Bready, and saly aromas and flavours. Strong distinct peppery flavours, likely from the yeast. Pepper cakes. High carbonation level, but mellows after a while. Oily texture. Velvety sensations on the tongue. Not really Belgian in character, but close. Clean drying, almost cloying malts towards the end.

Bottled. A hazy orangey-golden beer gushing through the bottleneck. The carbonation lasts for a few minutes, then the beer get totally flat. Moderate fruity and yeasty aroma with a faint spice scent. Clean malt flavor, medium sweet with some fruity and yeasty tones. Hardly no bitterness. Body is thin, watered down and almost liveless. Short, empty finish. Somthing went wrong with this one. Re-rate pending.

(EBF 2008) Golden color, white head. Yeasty malty aroma. Sweetish yeast flavor, some hoppy floral notes.
