COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Brøckhouse Blonde is brewed from a secret mixture of spices, herbs and specialty malts. It is a Belgian style top-fermented ale brewed with English and German hops. In spite of the relatively high alcohol content, Blonde is sparkling fresh and light because of the high content of carbon dioxide. At the same time it has a complex combination of taste and flavour combining apples, flowers, sweet and bitter. Best served at 9-12°C

Tap, DBF 2004.Hazy amber, moderate head and condition. Yeast and good hop resin along with a perfumed spiciness that could be aniseed in the nose. Sweet and spicy in the mouth with the hops a little more muted and still some perfume lingering. Bittersweet and finely balanced sweet malt and hop bitterness in the finish.

01.10.2006. 0,5l Bottle. Golden brown colour with white head. Ølet minnner litt om en Pale ale/IPA men er ikke likte blomster/sitrusaktig, selv om det står det på etiketten. Smaken er fyldig frisk og god!

500 ml bottle. Brownish copper. Medium-sized white head. Bready, and saly aromas and flavours. Strong distinct peppery flavours, likely from the yeast. Pepper cakes. High carbonation level, but mellows after a while. Oily texture. Velvety sensations on the tongue. Not really Belgian in character, but close. Clean drying, almost cloying malts towards the end.

Bottled. A hazy orangey-golden beer gushing through the bottleneck. The carbonation lasts for a few minutes, then the beer get totally flat. Moderate fruity and yeasty aroma with a faint spice scent. Clean malt flavor, medium sweet with some fruity and yeasty tones. Hardly no bitterness. Body is thin, watered down and almost liveless. Short, empty finish. Somthing went wrong with this one. Re-rate pending.

220ml draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Clear and deep amber in body colour under a film-type head. Floral smell with a touch of pale malts. Refreshing sweet, dark fruits in flavour, but otherwise rather characterless. Lively carbonated (11.09.2008).
