dornoy (660), Lyngby, Denmark Dec 27, 2008 Low head on a copper orange body. Hints of forest trees, hiney and spices. Good to see brewers experiment. This is a very refreshing and original brew SaintMatty (571), Tallinn, Estonia Dec 18, 2008 500ml Bottle - Amber/brown in colour. Fruity aroma with some sweet notes and the pine needles also noticeable. Sweet, malty taste with honey and fruit and a light tangy element on the tongue. Interesting stuff and worth trying again. kask (5), Toender, Denmark does not count Oct 19, 2008 Hazy golden to copper color with small creamy head.
lots of pine and sweetnes in the aroma.
Flavor has a lot of pinetree note. Honeynote is not very strong. The adding of sloe, gives the ale a fresh spicy touch. The brewery says that they got their inspiration from the old wikings who used to make their ales on pine, but im sure they also got some inspiration from the Williams Brothers pine ale Alba, both ales are excellent. Pinball (996), Allerød, Denmark Sep 15, 2008 bottle,

poured dark orange, slightly cloudy, large light brown head, thick, colored a bit uneven by th yeast.
flavor of licorice (or rather some spice or herb that is close to that) some bitterness as if from chillies, honey,, alc, okaaay flavor but not one i’m likely to revisit except if i really need to be spiced up. Hansen (1869), Randers, Denmark Aug 30, 2008 Funny name, difficult to say..Draupnir. Should be spiced with sloe, which I cant detect. Golden coloured, almost clear. Some spicy notes in the aroma, wich I dont like.
