jazzmaster (18), Denmark Nov 24, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, golden with a good, white head. Very nice and intense hop aroma, not "just" citrus and pine needles, also some interesting hop spicyness. Fullbodied and caramel in taste, with a nice not too overwhelming bitterness. Very well-balanced. sinisterdad (13), Denmark Sep 9, 2007 Bottle. golden orange color, nice lasting offwhite head. Good lacings. Beautiful hoppy aroma, grape fruit and floral with some piney notes. Very hoppy flavor, the hops really attack you in a good way. Dry hoppy finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Very nice hoppy aroma, fruity, and with caramel. Powerful mouthfeel, excellent caramel aroma, with an extreme hopping, very rich. One of the best Danish beers.

2007-09-15, draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 8-5-7-5-16=41
Beautiful cloudy red-amber color; creamy head; wonderful sticky lace. Massive aroma, hoppy, fruity (apricots), light aroma of pine needles too, and delicate aroma of hop flowers. Correct body structure, maybe less sweet than expected (wanted), with a lot of caramel/toffee flavor, and again an extreme hopping; the hop has a lot of qualities, there are some dry resins, but less fruity than the aroma suggested. The final is of course etremely long and strong. Excellent, but maybe the bottle is better.

2007-03-17, bottle, 8-5-8-5-16=42
Beautiful amber color, hazy; big head. The aroma is hoppy, fruity, a bit spicy, with hop resins, very light vanilla. Medium body structure, with a very good malt taste without being sticky. The hopping is bold, more balanced in the beginning and rising towards the end; very long final. Very well brewed.

2007-01-31, bottle, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Hazy amber color; huge head. The aroma is delicate with hops and some pine needles. Medium mouthfeel, the malt profile is not extremely accented, but there is immediately a very strong bitterness, with some hop aromas and some hop resins. I like the style, but this example is a bit rough. Bragesnak (1404), Aarhus, Denmark Apr 10, 2008 Aarhus, DK
