Unclear amber pour, white head. Aroma has loads of simcoe hops, that newcut grass, piney, leafy pellet kinda hop smell, caramel malts, some oxidation. Taste is oxidized, high unbalanced bitterness, american hops, some malts in there as well.

Old bottle from the cellar. Hazy amber colour with a thick tan head. Aroma is quite intense with a sweet and malty base along with grass, hops and flowers. Flavour is malt, caramel, grapefruit, hops and alcohol, leaving a long bitter, malty and alcohol after taste.

Amber, haze and sediment. Very phenolic, metallic hop charcter and lots of it. Has earthy bitterness. Some metallic hop. The malts were flat and did nothing to help the hops along.

bottle. Pours thick. Is cloudy red-brown-orange brick color with slim white cap. Aromatic. The hops are both bright and earthy. A powerful aroma that signals strength. Has a lot of orange peel. Also soil, minerals, and bay leaves. Smells big and ballsy. thick, big bodied beer but is very smooth and does not seem hot at all. Has a lingering roasted malt toastiness in the finish that makes it stand out. Very balanced. Is a nice pocket of hop for me, bitter, dry, and earthy without being dull. Nice job!

Feb, 09 from CPH. Pours a hazy amber with light head that persists well. Aroma of citrus and pine. Taste very malty with caramel, citrus and lots of hops. Has a very long, bitter finish. Not bad, but I prefer the Epic Stout.
