Commercial Description:

English: Inspired by the powerful German Doppelbock, we have created an amber coloured, intensely malt flavoured beer using Bavarian malts. Brøckhouse Epic Red is brewed using munich-, vienna- caramel- and meladonin malt and moderately hopped with the classical German hops: Perle, Hallertauer Mittlefrüh and Tettnanger. This is a beer influenced by the many different types of malt which gives it a full-bodied malty flavour and a beautiful, white head reflecting the magic colour of the beer. Best served at 10 – 12 degrees celsius.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a nice tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of both fresh and over ripe fruits as well as some cowberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, fresh and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry nutty finish where a note of alcohol comes along and leaves a slight burn in the throat and a warmth in the cheeks.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear, dark amber with a yellowish head. Spicy, somewhat perfumy aroma. Rather solid body with loads of malt and caramel. Rich, arming alcoholic finish with some bitterness. 281006

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Clear deep ruby. Aroma of stable and black currant. Sweet and fruity. Medium bodied with notes of molasses. Some caramel, late resiny bitterness. Too simple malt character.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy reddish with a lacing tan head. Malty, slight note of overripe fruits into a light spiced and towards wineous aroma. Flavour is sharp malty, light spiced accent, berry fruity towards overripe fruit. Ends with a lingering malt note and a sweet flavour into the finish, only light fruity at this stage.
