2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
22nd June 2009
Cloudy brown beer. Semi dry palate. Semi sweet aged malt that is just slightly sour. A little red fruit underneath. A trace of spicy aniseed. Interesting but not outstanding.

Amber, reddish ale. Frothy head. Somewhat nutty aroma. Wheat? Malty sweetness. More malty sweetness in the flavour. Raspberries? Alcohol. Not very epic, it seems as if the idea with this beer is to increase the ABV with disregard for the aroma and flavour.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Clear deep ruby. Aroma of stable and black currant. Sweet and fruity. Medium bodied with notes of molasses. Some caramel, late resiny bitterness. Too simple malt character.

Thanks Sick_boy for sharing this with us. Pours with a red-brown body with little head or lacing. It’s sweet and malty with a light fruity note. Not much else to it. Medium bodied, smooth and slighlty dry.
