COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Brewed as an Alt Bier this beer has its historical roots in the Rhine valley, Germany. The colour is copper; the taste filled with notes of caramel and almonds is soft and round with a moderate bitterness. Brøckhouse Høstbryg (Harvest Brew) goes well with grilled meats and heavy vegetables. Best served at 8-10 degrees celsius.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2007 Bottled. A clear, brown beer with a beige head. Caramel, spices and hops in the aroma, which is a bit weak. The flavor has caramel-sweetness, some spicyness and hops, and frutiy notes. Some warming alcohol as well, surprisingly. Medium body. Quite sweetish and slightly bitter finish. A decent beer, but I would like the alcohol to be less evident. (061028)
