Hazy orange with a fine white head. Very fruity aroma dominated by citrus with notes of yeast and white pepper. Grassy and slightly hoppy flavor again with plenty of fruit but also a rather rancid touch that makes it somewhat unbalanced. Fresh, but uninteresting.

500ml bottle. Slightly hazy pale orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral. Flavor is refreshing, fruity, malt, hops and spices. A quite pleasant thirst-quencher.

Bottled. A clear, golden beer with a bit, dense, beige head. The nose is pleasant, but somewhat boring, malty and fruity with some floral notes. It has a quite sweet flavor, with malt and a floral bitterness. This beer brings me to the spring, but not as early as Easter. (070216)

thewolf (8625) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2007
Bottle. Pours a little hazy yellowish amber with a medium white foamy head. Aroma is very malty, bread and hay. Some bitter berries sneak into it as well. Well carbonated. Begins sweet and malty, then more musky and grass-like. Ends on a citric and bitter note (not citric bitter, but two different flavours)

Bottled. A slightly hazy amber-orange beerw with a light orange head. The aroma is of caramel, brewmash, barnyard, and straw. And the flavor is of barnyard, straw, brewmash, and alcohol, leading to a bitter end.

Bottled. Hazy pale nutbrown colour, huge creamy off-white head and lots of lace. Aroma of honey, spices, hay and malts. Flavour is malty and hoppy mainly. Some spices and sweetness in the background also. Quite nice.

TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 10, 2006
Bottled 2006 vintage (BB 02/2007). Hazy amber color, good off-white head, lace. Malty, woody, notes of brown sugar, kind of harsh nose. Fruity and quite yeasty. A bit spicey - maybe that’s "lindeblomst" there. Soft mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Drinkable, but kind of uninteresting.

Though looking pretty in its opaque midummer hay cloth, this is a very un-Brøckhouse-ish beer. It completely fails to lead my imagination anywhere near the festive, full-bodied Easter brews put out by competitors, and ends up feeling like little more than a spruced up pilsner. And where is the much touted lime flower? Certainly not in the unbalanced sweetness that clings to the palate and demands another swig to go away. I don’t understand what Brøckhouse is doing laying waste to its good reputation with this yawn of a beer.

Clear amber colour with a foamy off white head. Sweet malty aroma with a hoppy floral note. Hoppy fruity flavor with a light bitter finish.
