English: Brøckhouse Christmas Beer has everything. It is top-fermented with Belgian yeast and brewed using four different sorts of malt and cane sugar. The taste is profound, warm and full with a distinct touch of chocolate. This is a genuine Abbey Ale with all the fragrances of Christmas: dates, figs, cloves and apricots. The hops are Northern Brewer and aromatic East Kent Goldings. Brøckhouse Christmas has been stored for 3 months and will keep easily for up to 10 years. It is an ale that goes excellently with the traditional Danish Christmas fare. Best served at 10-12 degrees celsius.

Vintage 2008 (9.0% ABV), bottle (50cl). Reluctant head - finger-thick eventually, settles as a stable off-white ring. Very dark brown colour. Aroma of malt, cookies, licorice, coffee, figs/raisins, yeast. Medium/full body, flat carbonation, highly quaffable. Sweet chocolate/coffee-like taste balanced by a fruity acidity and mild bitterness. Long fruity-malty aftertaste.

Vintage 2007. Opened on May 31st, 2012. The beer opened up very lively. The beer pours a rusty rootbeer brown with no head. The nose has a very distinct sandalwood smell with cinnamon, clove and black licorice. This beer is light weight mouth feel. The pallet is light red fruit, a bit of grape. The beer finishes with a carmel/light burnt sugar and molasses flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled, vintage 2008: red brown in color with a frothy but dimishing light brown head. Aroma is caramel, light licorice, raison, plums, dried abricots.. Taste is medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation., A very BIG, yet un-sexy piece of art, sorry - beer. .
