COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Five years ago head rewer and Managing Director Allan Poulsen brewed an Old Ale in his basement and it became extremely popular. The beer-Guru Michael Jackson became infatuated by this ale during a visit to Denmark. Since then a large number of beer enthusiasts have been asking for it. That is why Allan Poulsen decided to brew it once again. Brøckhouse Old Ale is top-fermented containing 6,5% alcohol. It is a mixture of new ale and ale stored for up to two years. The long storage adds a note of sherry to the Old Ale. This ale has a wonderful maroon colour and a thick head. It contains exotic perfumy accents from far away lands, cloves, coriander, a touch of pepper and ripened fruit. Best served at 10-12 degrees celsius. Goes well with tapas and anti pasti.

(No size marked bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours light brown with nice head. Nose of corn, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, creamy, toasted malts with nice creamy carbonation. The body is medium thick, and the beer is good but odd in a way I can’t figure out.
