COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: A traditional Danish Bavarian style beer, brewed according to old traditions. The combinations of bottom fermentation and plenty of Münchner malt give the beer a full malted flavour and a beautiful red-golden colour. The bitterness of the robust Perle hops, from southern Germany, balances the sweetness of the malt, together creating a full and round tasting beer. Best served cold, at 6-8 degrees celsius.

(Bottled, BB 061208). Pinky red-ruby color, small beige head. Fruits and berries, honey and yeast in the nose. Medium to almost upper-medium body. Quite yeasty, almost Nogne O -like yeasting. Caramel malts, some hops, spicey note, hops plus brown sugar. Light lingering hops in the aftertaste. I would not call this dunkel.

500 ml bottle. Tall light beige head. Light brownish red colour. Strong nutty malty aroma. Quite a bit of malt sweetness and a little sharp hop bitterness. Nicely balanced. A little on the sharp side. Lots of nice malty flavours. Prickly texture with lots of clean noble hops.

Flaske: Heldigvis blev ikke hele øllen hældt op da der var kæmpe klumper i bunden. Men ellers flot rødbrun øl. Fin frugtig maltduft, ogen god balance i smagen imellem malt og humle. Men ikke min ynglingstype øl.

Rating #100. I picked this as my #100 because the first time I tasted it was one of my first experiences with micro brew. Sad that they had to close down. Hazy red color with a lasting offwhite head. Aroma: Malt, caramel, bread, flowers, a little alc., . Taste: Very good balance. Some malty sweetness, flowers and straw from the hops. a little tickle from the alcohol in the aftertaste. Long lasting aftertaste. Still a great brew.
