This beer has a beutiful red color and a fantastic head - just wait for it to be poured. The aroma is very sweet with notes of rowanberries. The flavor is fine with notes of berries and some sharpness though rounded. It is a little watery in the middle but turning nicely bitter in the end. It is not as dark as it is supposed to be according to the style. Another OK beer from Brøckhouse - but far from as good as IPA and Stout.

(Bottle 50 cl) Reddish brown with some impurities and a huge, impressive, stable head. Distinct, full malty body and a marked bitterness with a twist of acidity. A beer showing both character and craftsmanship. 120504

Sampled draught at the Danish Beer Festival.
Ruby coloured with lively rich head. Soapy, roasty aroma. Sweet and clean, softly malty. Flowery bitter finish. Pleasand and well balanced.

50 cL bottle, at Den årlige ølsmagning i Valhal. Pours golden red/amber with a little lacing off-white head. Smooth caramel malt aroma. Flavour is medium dry to light sweet with a mild caramel malt and a solid bitterness. Finish is mild caramel and with medium bitterness. Slight trace of spice.

Red colour with a fine white head. Aroma of malt. The taste is malty, with notes of fruits, which ends up in a bitter aftertaste. Easy drinkable, but quite ordinary and boring beer
