dirkbreedveld (231), Netherlands Oct 7, 2005 Nice amberstyle beer. Easy going every way, very commercial. Very drinkable due to balanced of malts, bitters, fruity ness. Nice label too.

Pinky red-ruby color, small beige head. Fruits and berries, honey and yeast in the nose. Medium to almost upper-medium body. Quite yeasty, almost Nogne O -like yeasting. Caramel malts, some hops, spicey note, hops plus brown sugar. Light lingering hops in the aftertaste. I would not call this dunkel. plovmand (827), Helsinge, Denmark Oct 15, 2008 On tap at a Thai restaurant in Hillerød. I dont believe that the tap was cleaned very weel before attaching this because it tasted somewhat different than on the other occasions I had this although its a couple of years ago. Oh well. Malty and citric aroma. Flavour was bit sour (which its shouldnt) with malty and hoppy notes. Some spices as well. cgarvieuk (2797), Edinburgh, Scotland Oct 3, 2008 draught at EBF Copenhagen 2008 ... Deep red ... slightly sour nose ... light and fruity ... not up to much... Fin (2570), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Sep 29, 2008 Had this at the European Beer Festival, Kobenhaven, Denmark 13-09-08 Another beer that has taken me some time to track down, I had it down as Redwood but am convinced that this is the beer. Pours murky reddy/brown in colour with a light beige head atop (small) Good hoppy beer, nice furry taste in the mouth, spices and noticeable amongst them there appeared to be some ginger perhaps? FatPhil (2577), Espoo, Finland Sep 18, 2008 Bottle (EBF2008)
Sweet sour fruits, and touch of soap. OK carbonation. Slight vegetal taste. Not too sweet, fortunately, unlike many a red.
