yngwie (3893), Kristiansand, Norway Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. It pours a nice, hazy, golden-orange body with a decent off-white head. Spices and wheat in the aroma which is completely dominated by ginger. Too much in my opinion, as it leaves a soapy impression. The ginger is dominant initially in the flavor, followed by a general spicyness, wheat, malt and a little bitterness. Medium body and a pleasant co2 level. I like the concept of putting ginger in the saison, but the amount in this beer seriously affected the drinkability. Decent beer though, and somehow quenching. (080912) rlgk (3241), Motala, Sweden Nov 2, 2008 (EBF 2008) Golden color, small head. Malty bready aroma. Flavor brings pine needles, spices some elder and heather. omhper (11027), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 28, 2008 Bottled, thanks Ungstrup! Clear golden, mid sized head. Strong aroma of ginger and lemony washing up liquid. Sweet and medium bodied with bold clumsy malt character, syrupy sticky sweetenss and a terrible all overpowering ginger/lemon flavour. uhre (309), Denmark Oct 20, 2008 Aroma of ginger, soap and citrus, The beer is hazy yellow with head.
