2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20 JensenTaster (1718) - - MAR 28, 2004
(on bottle) Pitch black, no light trough the edges of the beer; that, I was told, is the diffenition of a Stout.
I prefer the taste as a guide; I´ll get back on that.
This smells alot of chocolate and a bit sweets(caramel) in there too. First two sips are plesant, but my palate are not into this brew. A sour/metalic feeling clings to it and ruins the rest of the 70 cl. The aftertaste and there´s a watery feeling in my mouth. This is the aftertaste of a porter, not a stout; wich to me, is fuller and more round. Looking forward to the nitro-version on bottle!!

0.5l bottle. My friend Kåre sent me three different stouts from Denmark and this is the one I liked the most. You can feel roasted malt and sweetenes that ends up in pleasant bitterness. Well crafted beer indeed.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 trapez (1353) - Hilleroed, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2008
Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Irma Hilleroed. Colour black with small beige head. Aroma dark chocolate and smoke. Tastes like the aroma -slightly bitter from the hops. I have tasted this stout more than 10 times and never really felt anything extraordinary contrary to most brews from Brøckhouse. Soft mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Plovmand (4929) - Helsinge, DENMARK - APR 22, 2008
Bottle. 5,6% ABV. Pours dark brown/black with big light brown head. In nose roasted malts and notes of coffee, some smoke and a little chocolate. Flavour is about the same with the roastiness in front, smoke, coffee and it ends of in a watery bitterness. Quite good for a "low" percenter stout.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Pinball (8562) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 14, 2008
i am surprised how high a rating i give right now, but this is a very well crafted beer. soft, good looking, tastes great and it’s not even that strong. I can’t remember to have tasted this good a stout with such a low alc. percentage. If you like stout even just a little bit, you’ve got to try this one.
