kopestes (160), Braine l’Alleud, Belgium Jun 10, 2008 0.5l bottle. My friend Kåre sent me three different stouts from Denmark and this is the one I liked the most. You can feel roasted malt and sweetenes that ends up in pleasant bitterness. Well crafted beer indeed.

Sweet coffee aroma. Pleasant carbonation. Dry burnt body. A little thin and drying. Pleasant, but not special. fonefan (6107), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 6, 2008 Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, coffee, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (170508) trapez (330), Hilleroed, Denmark May 24, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Irma Hilleroed. Colour black with small beige head. Aroma dark chocolate and smoke. Tastes like the aroma -slightly bitter from the hops. I have tasted this stout more than 10 times and never really felt anything extraordinary contrary to most brews from Brøckhouse. Soft mouthfeel. KimJohansen (5208), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 22, 2008 Black with medium beige head. Sweet with roasted malt, caramel, coffee and liquerice notes. Ends mild bitter.
