COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brew our Weizen Bier with over 50% wheat malt, and then ferment it with a special German strain of yeast to produce this delicious tart, thirst-quenching brew, with its complex blend of fruitiness and maltiness in both the nose and palate.

Mid-golden and clear (yes, clear) with a thin white head above. Alcohol does not hide well beneath mild banana and toasty malts. Fairly sticky palate, overtly sweet with banana and citrus notes. Biscuits linger beneath but the finish is both sweet and sour. There were too many factors that threw me off this beer.

Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - SEP 25, 2006

This had the look of a Kristallweizen, a clear yellow body with a frothy white head. Very creamy mouthfeel. Like the nose, the taste is full of fresh banana, some soft wheat flavors, a dash of clove, and a light lemon twist at the finish. This is good stuff for Summer weather.
