RBESG 2011 day 1 at the King William ... There were Cellar problems that weekend and they had lost temperature control on a hot weekend... golden yellow ... soft sweet lemon rind ... big hop oil nose .. big big sweet hop ... juicy hops ... a very mellow lemon .. some rind ...note of things im not so fond of ( a hop i think)

Slightly stodgy aroma. Sweet malts. Annoying hoppy component, a bit grassy. Light malts in the finish. Really not getting much hop bitterness at all. Sub-par.

Clear medium orange colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light heavy hoppy, grass, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and heavy bitter with a long to average duration, refreshing and very good balanced. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 6th August 2011 RBESG Weekend. Light haze on this gold beer, no real head. Light semi dry palate with very moderate carbonation. Nice hops - juicy orange and lime with a little pine and grass. Mild malt backbone. Semi dry finish. Nice beer!

Cask at William IV, London, during RBESG 2011. Pours an almost clear gold with a small, white foam head. Has a very mild aroma, perhaps some faint citrus and grass. Nice flavor, bit of resinous pine, light rindy grapefruit, some toast and grass. Light to medium in body with fine, soft carbonation. Modest sticky finish, clean and green, fresh hops, light sweet, lingering bitter resins. Pretty nice.
