3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Keg @ The Old Coffee House. Pours deep hazy amber with a luxurious medium white head. The nose is of concentrated sugar, marmalade, oranges, strong sweet jammy mango. The taste is apricot liqueur, boozy tropical fruits. Sweet sugar-coated orchard fruits. Bolstering strawberry-like malt backbone. Medium full body, the abv certainly isn’t fully obscured. Overall, quite good.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Golden orange appearance with an off white head. Fairly tropical fruity, a bit resiny, lightly floral hoppy aroma. Pretty well balanced taste. Fairly fruity, grapefruit, orange, somewhat herbal flavor. Solid but nothing special.

Cask at Brodies. It pours golden amber, with a decent bubbly white head. The nose is passion fruit, mango, grapefruit and ice cream. The taste is resin, pine, mango, passion fruit, honey, cinnamon, floral, varnish, golden syrup and a touch of butter, with a decent bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Drinks lower than 7%. A tasty IPA.

At the Brewpub. Light haze on this gold beer, a little bubbly white head. Smooth silky palate. Lovely juicy hops. Resinous citrus hops, orange and lime. Minerally pine. Fantastically hoppy IPA - so juicy.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at the William IV. Clear pale blond colour, small bubbly white head. Aroma is grapefruit sharp, full on hop pong, maybe bit of resin. Taste is bitter and fruity, lemon, bit of sour cream. Can really taste the booze, and probably shouldn’t have started off with a pint of this.
