3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Leighton (6927) - London, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2011
Bottle at home. Pours a hazy, deep gold with a foamy, white head. Nose holds some doughy, yeasty bread and faint fruitiness. Flavor is so so. Has some light, malty sugars, faint earth, hints of alcohol, and some very mild fruits. Light to medium in body with average to lively carbonation. Finishes a little bready, with a bit of sharpness, little bitterness. The beer isn’t bad, per se, but I can’t really pick out anything I like about it.
