2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 FatPhil (6206) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 6, 2011
Cask (William IV, RBESG2011 Saturday)
Pretty stinky aroma. Light berry taste which spoils what would otherwise only be a boring beer. This has no reason to exist. There is no problem to which this beer is the solution.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Fin (5749) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2011
Bottle from the brewery, Feb 2011, consumed at home shared with dad 30.08.11 Pours hazy orange amber with white head. Touch wheaty as would expect, but some sweetness. Really quite nice, fruity but whilst I don’t necessarily get blueberries there are certainly berries of some description in the mouth. Quite good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

500ml bottle from the brewery, drunk at home, 20th Dec 2010. Amber with a white head. Pretty wheaty. Quite sweet, blueberry not too dominant, just hints. Dry finish. Not that bad, just not my thing.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2011
Bottle from William 4th pub. Well its not blue. Given the inventiveness of this brewery I am a bit surprised it is just a regular light brown copper colour. Thin lasting beige head. Slightly berry fruity aroma. Slight tinge of plastic. Settles down into a decent fruity bitter. Like all Brodies beers its very likeable. Its a fruity bitter
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2011
From bottle at Brodies Autumn Festival at the William IV on 4 September 2010. Amber with a slight haze. Some subtle, tart berry fruit. Soft and easy drinking. Didn’t really make much of an impression. Crap notes - flagged for re-rate.
