Cask at the William IV (Brodies Autumn Fest), 4th Sept 2010. Dark copper colour. Strong caramel nose. Sweet and sugary with toffee and a bit of tea in the flavour.

On cask (handpump) at Brodies Autumn Festival at the William IV on 4 September 2010. Bright clear copper colour. Brodies tends to concentrate on the pale hoppy beers rather well but this was a satisfying, balanced bitter in a more traditional style. Good mix of earthy hops and biscuity malts. Dry and moderately bitter. Solid stuff.

Cask handpull at William IV. Brown bitter, thin white head. I like that. It’s a proper brown bitter with some fruit and dry malt. Touch of caramle. Decent.

4th September 2010. Brodies Beer Fest at their Brewpub - King William IV in Leyton.
Clear amber beer, no real head. Beautifully balanced bitter. Fresh malt that is very slightly toffee. Offset by nice dark orange hop. Another Brodies beer that seduces with it’s whispered qualities. Finishes semi dry.
