LIVE RATING: Cask at the Jolly Butchers, London on 13th February 2011. Hazy gold with thin white head giving full initial lacing. Pleasant grassy hop scents initially. Exquisite burst of grass, fine grapefruit and cigar to bonfire smoke in-mouth and a delicious aftertaste of grassy bitterness. This beer is fantastic! If you see it go for it!

Cask@the Bodega, Newcastle upon Tyne. Golden looks with a medium creamy white head. Promising nose packed full of fragrant hop and citrus, as was the gently sweet flavour which showed off the chinook to great effect. Very drinkable with decent body and a very tidy bitter finish. Well worth a look.

[cask at the King William IV, Leyton] Amber ale with a thin head. Nice and citrusy nose, and on the taste too. Pretty refreshing. The finish is long and dry, but not too sharp. Decent, hoppy beer [20092011]
