Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy straw yellow pour with frothy white head, citrus and slightly herby aroma, crisp fresh citra hop taste decent level of carbonation makes it really refreshing, would go down well in a session on a hot summers day.

Cask at the Mikkeler Bar, Copenhagen. Poured a cloudy light reddish yellow with a thin bubbly white head. The aroma is citrus leading to a somewhat rich bitter flavour with lots of bitterness lingering on the palate. This is like no other Citra Pale Ale I've tasted before. I was a little shocked at the first sip but it grew on me the more I drank. It's well worth tasting if only for the shock factor.

On cask at The Old Coffee House. Pours a hazy blonde colour with a fair white head. A pungent Citra aroma with lemon, pine and grassy notes. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Mildly bitter. I had no idea it was only 3.1%!

Cask @ The Old Coffee House. The pour’s light gold with a tiny white head. The nose is tropical fruits - mango, seagrass and pineapple. Light accents of citrusy piss. The taste is pineapple cheddar cheese, light fruits and dried grass. Really pleasant and flavorful for such a low ABV beer! Overall, excellent. Refreshing.

At Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pale golden with a lasting white head. Perfumed citrus aroma. Clean and crisp, delicious citrus hoppy flavour on a well shaped little malt body

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2013 Cask at the Old Coffee House, London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a small, white foam head. Nose is gorgeous, grassy citrus with hints of tang. Light sweet flavor with citra character that just sings, nice and grassy with grapefruit highlights, hints of pine and straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Excellent conditon. Lightly dry to finish, lightly hoppy with crisp and tangy lemon and pineapple, mild grass, suggestions of dery straw. This is an awesome, modern golden ale. (4.1)

Draft during the Mikkeller Tap Takeover at King William IV - London. Cheers to Witter for this pint, which I enjoyed while beating him at pub games. The beer is in great shape. Super fresh. An excellent sessioner. Golden ales don’t come much better. (4.1)
