Cask (William IV, Leyton, Brodies Christmas Cracker 2009)
Brilliant fuggles hoppy bitter aroma. Big fruity hoppy retronasals. Some raisins, pleasant dry woodiness. Very tasty classic bitter. Well balanced, and lovely mellowing bitter finish.

Cask (handpump) at Brodies Christmas Cracker, William IV, Leyton, 19 December 2009. Amber colour. Dry and quite hoppy. A little sulphur. Another decent and well made session bitter from Brodies.

Cask@Old Coffee House, Soho, London (As Brodies East End Bitter, 4.0%). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, rather sweet malts as well as some slight toasted and grassy/wooden notes. Flavour is bitter hops, some caramel and mild wooden and vanillaish notes. Pleasant bitter.
