(Cask at Old Fountain, Old Street, London, 19 May 2011) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, slightly malty nose with notes of citrus, grass and fresh floral hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with lemon, grapefruit and generous doses of grassy, citrussy hops in the finish. Rather light body, with a touch of sweetness. Very tasty and quite nice.

On tap at the Old Fountain. Slightly hazy pale gold beer, residual white head. Light semi dry palate, low carbonation. Fresh bitter columbus. Spicy grassy with grapefruit that turns juicy and then orange joins the party. Semi dry finish, lingering bitter aftertaste. Once again Brodies packs the flavour in.

Cask (handpump) at the Old Fountain on 10 May 2011. Straw colour. No head. Moderate condition. Nettley, slightly flowery aroma. Strong, moderately bitter hoppy flavour. Grapefruit and herbal notes. Mouthfeel is, understandably, quite light but pleasantly firm, with a lingering citrus and tropical fruit aftertaste. Another excellent, hopped-up, relatively low strength beer from Brodies.

Cask conditioned handpump Old Fountain London. A pale yellow, headless, beer. Sharp lemony hops with a bit of sting. Nice sharp bitterness in the mouth. Good citricity. Nice grapefruit. Tasty.
