Cask at Brodies BF. Pours a cloudy, rich gold with a foamy, white head. Lightly tart fruits in the nose, yeast, wafts of booze, some grass and lemon. Sweet, full flavor, plenty of grass, florals, lemon zest, light caramel and wood. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warm finish, with zesty citrus, some sugars and pine. Great beer.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, moderate yeasty, overripped orange - mandarin, overripped fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, overripped mandarin, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Cask (handpump) at Brodies Bunny Basher Festival at King William IV, Leyton on 1 May 2011. Cloudy orange colour. Big, tart orange peel aroma. Strong hop rush in the flavour two - orange fruit and tangy marmalade prominent again. Some sweetness but good balancing bitterness too. Rich, powerful and very tasty. Sometimes I can blather on waxing lyrical about a good beer for ages. Other times I’m enjoying the beer too much to write a lot. It would appear this was in the latter category.

At the brewpub in Leyton. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Rich dried fruits, orange marmalade and some grapefruit. Nothing unusual flavour wise here but the flavours are intense from beginning to end. Nice beer!

Cask handpull at William IV Leyton. Cloudy orange gold colour with lasting ivory head. Its lovely. A hopy Belgian ale. Yes some esters but I am guessing this was dry hopped as it really is hoppy. Wow I cant remember drinking anything that hoppy from Belgium and not many from the UK either. Top beer, top pub, top day. Touch of earthyness on finish.
